G.A.P. or “God and Pizza” is a youth faith formation program for teens that nourishes both the body and soul with a slice of pizza and faith served with a variety of toppings and topics at each meeting. Teens gather to learn about important topics related to faith in an interactive and dynamic style through discussion, question and answer, media presentations, guest speakers, debate, music, drama/skits, and prayer. G.A.P. is a way to continue faith formation through the high school years outside of the classroom environment. Sign Up!
F.I.A.T. or “Faith in Action Team” are teens that spring into action when there is a call for help. FIAT refers to Mary’s “yes” to God’s call to her to help save the world by becoming the Mother of His Son Jesus. Like Our Blessed Mother, teens respond “yes” to the call to help our brothers and sisters in need. Teens organize and provide all types of outreach and service depending on the needs here in the local community and beyond.
C.A.T. or “Catholic Action Teens” provides the Catholic response and perspective from teens when it comes to issues, policies, and actions local and abroad that go against the moral teaching of the Catholic Church, particularly with regard to issues effecting youth.
G.A.S. or "God and Sports"
T.L.C. or “Teen Liturgy Committee” are a team of teens who have an interest in planning and serving any of our liturgical events, especially the 6 pm Sunday evening Mass. Teens are invited to become lectors, Eucharistic Ministers (high school seniors), altar servers, and ushers.
T.A.G. or “Teen Acting Group” is for those who wish to use their skills in drama, theater, performance, and in music to provide spiritual enrichment during liturgies/Masses and in other forums and settings such as parish productions, skits, and talent shows.
S.E.T. or “Social Event Teens” help to setup and plan events and outings for teens.
REVERENCE: This is the name of our Saint Anthony of Padua teen/college/young adult music group/band that plays predominately at the 6 pm Sunday evening Mass. It has a Christian contemporary bend but open to a wide range of music and styles.
